During the pandemic, Our Family Direct Primary Care has remained open to care for patient’s primary health needs. As our community reopens, we are responding to the increasing demand.
Our highest priority is the safety of out team and our patients. We are taking extra precautions:
-More rigorous and frequent cleaning of all common areas, high touch surfaces, and exam rooms
-Staff and patients are required to wear face coverings
-Screening patients and staff for COVID-19 symptoms (including temperature checks)
-Limiting total number of patients in the office at the same time
-Telehealth visits are option in some case
NOTE: Unless you have prior approval from this office only the patient will be admitted to the office.
If you have respiratory symptoms or suspect exposure to COVID-19, please DO NOT come into the building. Call the office/text 502.890.9979 to discuss the next steps.
If you need COVID-19 testing, we use the PCR test with a nasopharyngeal swab. You will be instructed to drive up to the basement entrance area on the west side of the Eastern Parkway Medical Arts building in the lower parking lot. YOU MUST BE WEARING A MASK COVERING YOUR NOSE, MOUTH, AND CHIN. DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE. A staff member wearing personal protective equipment will meet you to perform test. You must provide to the Practice valid documentation that you are up to date on all recommended vaccinations per the Centers for Disease Control Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices Vaccine Recommendations and Guidelines (https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/index.html). This applies to both adult and child member(s). A documented medical contraindication is the only exception to maintaining the recommended vaccinations. If you are eligible to get vaccinated, you must be fully vaccinated to be seen.
